Help! Are you supposed to get 10 movements from baby within 1 hour?

This is my second time today sitting after eating trying to feel for my babies  movements and he only moves up to 3 times! im 38 weeks & 4 days...

I’ve actually never counted movements. Probably not because my son moves all day. If you’re in doubt, call your doctor. Best of luck!

It’s 10 movements within 2 hours make sure your hand is on your stomach and you’re laying on your left n stay extra quiet n extra still...

Also you don’t need big huge movements if you feel a small movement but KNOW it’s baby, that counts. Drink some cold juice and lay on your side whichever side baby is normally most active on

There’s times I have to physically watch my stomach to see baby boy move. I don’t always feel it. Try laying down and drink something cold or sweet. I was told ten and hour but if he’s having a lazy day then ten within two hrs is still good. It wouldn’t hurt to call and go in as well to double check.

When in doubt call, it'll easy your mind if nothing else. Hospitals are used to it and you really will feel better.
But it is usually 10 times in 2 hours, any movement a kick, roll, twitch counts

My doctor told me it’s 6 an hour at this point. Baby is running out of room and sleeping a ton. Drink something w sugar and cold and eat something. Then lay down. If you don’t get 6 in the hour call the nurse

This happened to me the other day, I had a large cold glass of water and laid on my right side, within 20 mins she was going crazy... I think I was a bit dehydrated. Good luck, if your concerned you can always call the after hours number.
