How many words does your baby know?

Baby Sophia knows four: mama, dada, lana (our cat), and yay. She said Mama just before Easter and each word has come faster than the previous one so I know it's gonna start happening fast and furious here pretty soon. She points to EVERYTHING wanting to know the word for it, too cute!

He says mom , momma , dada, bubba, yes , no , uh huh, mhmm , dumb ( that was an accidental words picked up went working on 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) thank you, grandpa , dude , listen linda ( I always say it lol ) want , bedtime ,  buh bye , hi , hey, oops, up , cold , brrr , tonight , later . He’s very talkative and repeats everything , we learned with the word dumb so now we watch very carefully what we say

My girl (just turned 11 months) says mama, dada, Baba, ball, dog, duck, bird, Gaga, yeah, hi, bye bye, and she just recently started saying brother for her fur brothers😍 I’m so surprised she can even do the ck sound for duck sometimes!!

Mama and dada. He also points to everything so I think he’ll have more coming very soon! He said “all done” one time, but that was over a month ago and we have yet to hear it again 😂

My child appears to be the underachiever here:/ he doesn’t really say any words. Sometimes I think he is saying ma ma when he gets upset and wants to be picked up but I’m not sure if he knows what he is doing. He mainly just grunts. Although he knows what words mean like momma, dada, outside, car, ball...we can say where is car and he will go get it. I’m worried about him not talking :( he turns 1 on July 25th.

Our son says dada, hi, hey, hello, bye bye, yeah, sim, no mama and hobo. It wasn't picked up from hearing someone use a derogatory term. He was calling me mmm when trying to learn mama and his great grandma had been pushing him to say mama when we would call her. This usually resulted in him saying dada repeatedly. One day he started doing that she said "no no not dada say mama" he said dada again which was followed with her saying no no again. She's had a few strokes between that and medicine she sometimes slurs her words. He heard hobo. He still calls me hobo when he is in a playful excited mood

Addison can say Daddy, Thank you, Sissy, Ink (my other daughter's pet mouse), stop, sit, shake, yeah, yay, baba, no and sometimes she say Mama. She tries to say Diesel and Maggie our 2 Labs names.
