Drink water w/glucose test?

Can you drink water while your fasting for the glucose test? My test is tomorrow at 10 but I’m sooo thirsty!

You can drink water while fasting but once you drink the glucose drink you can only take sips of water if you really need it so you don’t dilute the drink which can alter the results of the test!

Yes you can drink in small quantities! Also in between the test, you are allowed to have little sips if you are thirsty

I could drink as much water while fasting before the test.
Once I took the glucose drink I couldn't drink any water for the first hour and then small sips for the second two hours.

I ate and drank 1 hour before I drank my drink. I just didn’t eat past midnight but my appointment was at 3, around 1 I had 2 patty sausages which I read was fine. Just no breads, cereals, stuff like that but you can drink water and eat things low in carbs up to 1 hour before the test. This is just what I was told and what ended up working for me. I’ll update with results when I get them ifvyiu want me to!
