Pressure to induce

I'm 40 weeks 5 days and was basically told if baby is not here by Monday (41weeks 2 days) that I will need to be induced for in my opinion no reason. There is 100% nothing wrong with me or baby all besides I have been stuck at 1.5 cm and 50% for a month now. Baby is at a -3 and won't drop any more no matter what I do and I'm staring to feel like my body is broke even though I'm only a few days over people keep looking at me like I'm gonna kill my baby if I don't get induced soon. I just don't know what to do any more any advice or kind words and thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I am on the edge of a mental breakdown.
