I've had my toddlers running around naked in our backyard, partly because its warm and partly because we're potty training and it's easier. But then it struck me that maybe I shouldn't do this since we have neighbours that can see them? Two of the neighbours we're acquainted with. We've had them over for barbecues a few times and we stop and talk for a bit when they're out. We definitely don't know them though. They have full insight in our garden. The third neighbour we have a sparse hedge between us and them so you can still see our garden from theirs. I don't know them at all, they don't seem very friendly and they don't say hello or respond when you try to greet them. None of our neighbours have kids. One of the friendly neighbours are a couple in their 30's and I don't think they plan on having children, they have hinted about that. The other friendly neighbour is a lonely single guy, also in his 30's, who spends his time with his cars or video games. The grumpy ones are a couple in their 50's or 60's. They never have any children or possible grown up children over so I don't think they have any, or at least not that are close to them. I know you can't shelter your kids from everything and that creepy people are everywhere and you never know who's harmful and that you can't live your life in fear, but at the same time, maybe I shouldn't let our children be completely naked? I don't know. What do you think?
