Hey guys, I am 21 and I am considering teaching kids. (haven’t picked a career yet.) I’ve always loved children, and got along with them very well. They always seem to really like me, and a lot of my social anxiety isn’t present when communicating with children. Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to teach little kids & then was unsure for years, but I feel as if I should give it a shot, but I have social anxiety and it’s holding me back. Also, the pay is holding me back too. My question is, is it possible to become a teacher with social anxiety? 😩 should I just go for it? Do you like being a teacher? Are you able to support yourself and family?
