So I decided to get the mirena IUD. I’m kinda scared about it. It’s just a weird thought to have this thing in my uterus. But it’s very effective and it seemed to be the best fit.

What are your experiences with actually getting it? Did you go by yourself? I’ve head of people being in a lot of pain after or that you might be lightheaded so I don’t know if I should drive myself. I heard it’s painful if you haven’t had sex or kids. I’m not a virgin but I haven’t had kids. I’ve really never had pain during sex. I’ve also never had an exam. They just never felt it necessary until I’m 21.
