I was supposed to get it done today but I chose not to, OB seemed like she was talking me out of it..... so that’s why i said not maybe she just didn’t want to do her job since she seemed super busy idk 🙄

Or maybe because it’s not guaranteed to work and there’s really no reason to do it. Your baby will come when ready.

It will only work if b your body is prepared to go into labor. It worked for me. This was my second pregnancy, I was 38 weeks exact, 3cm dialated, station -2, and 70% effaced. Stripped on Friday afternoon had my daughter Sunday afternoon.

I’ve had it done twice. Over my due date and still pregnant. Definitely does not work for everyone.

I have declined any checks along with membrane stripping. It’s uncomfortable and won’t do anything if your body isn’t ready anyways.
