Hey ladies. I need some help. Crochet blanket

So I’ll attach a picture. But I made a baby blanket. First question is. Should I make a border around it? Second, if yes what type of border? Third, if no border how do I hide the extra pieces of yarn? If you have pictures to give me an example or any helpful information that’d be much appreciated!
