I’m looking for some advice. A year ago I was diagnosed with a blood clot, thanks be to God the vein and artery collapsed and stopped the traveling of the clot. All was due to birth control. Not worth it! I was told birth control would help alleviate my menstrual pain. Which it did for the most part. Post blood clot, I’m off birth control, cannot take naproxen (which is the only thing that slightly helped) and every month I have excruciating pain (Worse than before). The pain is so bad that I miss 1-3 days of work every month. My doctor prescribed me hydrocodone but I don’t really want to take that every month.

Has anyone else been through this? What did you do?
