What would you do?????

My fiancé is super tight with money. He pays the bills and we live with my earnings, even then he still has money left over. every single penny counts and he just wont enjoy life and go out and have dinner and go places. Instead we sit in and he stresses about money. He pays the bills and doesnt miss any. Were in ZERO debt but hes super afraid of getting there, but i know majority of the earth are in debt and it wont kill us to spend $50 on a date night and even thats cheap!!! I asked him to order me trainers from his paypal, they were $12.50. He then said today he needed the $12.50 back. I would give him every single penny i had and he wouldnt buy me a pair of €12.50 shoes.
He goes to the cinema and literally walks into the screening, he wont go anywhere near the candy, popcorn or juice. He takes $3 off his friends for a lift. Just silly things like that make me furious he is such a scrooge. We basically have a disposable income constantly. 
Point of the matter is, he asked me for the $12 back. What man even does this!!!

If you both have income and have the responsibilities covered, let him be a Scrooge. Nothing wrong with having good spending habits. I don't spend money just because it's there either.

That is pretty extreme. My husband is somewhat similar but he will splurge for a date night or to go enjoy a festival. But If I wanted him to just go shopping for clothes he would had to have paid off the CC so we could use so I might have to wait a while before I can go splurge shopping. However we now have almost 10k in one savings account and and 30k in another. Along with whatever we make weekly from our jobs. 
So he's tight with $ but can enjoy himself. 
Maybe see if there's something HE wants to do and he would be willing to shell $ out for.  I don't care for sports but my husband likes to go to local BBall games so we go out and it's like a date with really boring entertainment but we still go out to eat and drink while we're there. Lol

That is going to be a huge problem in your marriage. I honestly think it's worth ending the relationship over. Finances is a huge part of marriage and if you both are not on the same page about how you want to spend money, it's going to be a major wedge between you. You might be able to shrug it off now, but if this continues for 5.. 10.. 15 years.. You're going to be miserable.

That sounds stressful... I'm sorry you have to deal with that. My wife and I have a joint bank account and credit card. I am usually the one keeping track of bills and etc. I indulge and so does she. I couldn't imagine not having a nice date with her or being able to get a Mountain Dew if I want one

Mines the same way. He's got all this leftover money after bills that goes towards necessities. But he acts like food isn't one unless it's dinner (when he's home). I don't get left any money to eat lunch while he's at work, nor will he come by on his lunch break, but he'll go buy fast food for his! It makes me so mad. Like I'm pregnant! Can't you just buy me something I want every now & then? If I'm telling you I'm hungry & there's nothing in the fridge & I'm asking for a less than $5 meal for lunch. You should be able to give me SOMETHING! Yet he has extra money for recreational purposes, stopping for breakfast & energy drinks at a gas station every morning.. Ugh

My brother-in-law made his girlfriend of 6 years pay him back $25 dollars last week and I thought that was crazy! If my husband would have asked me to pay him back such a small amount of money while we were dating, he wouldn't be my husband right now. It's just petty. If you won't buy me something and not expect it back then we don't need to be in a relationship. And I'm not being petty. I make 3/4 of our income. My pay checks triple my husbands. It's just the gesture.
