Birth control and no period

As the title says I’ve been on Birth Control for over two years, the pill im on now I’ve been on for a year. The longer I’m on this pill the less and lighter my periods have been. I don’t mind that but the last two times I’ve had a period it was so light I used liners. My last period started May 30, which I know it’s that long ago but I’m late for my next. The chance of me being pregnant would seriously be 1 in a million or a miracle because that sperm would of had to survived for almost 8months so I know I’m not pregnant. However for at least a week now my boobs and nipples are so overly sore I can’t stand wearing anything tight on them or touching them. I do have a regular doctors visit in a few days and I will be bringing this up but has anyone else had something similar happen and if so how long before you got your period and/or did your boobs eventually stop being sore?
