My boyfriend and I are on vacation to see his family in Colorado. He kept asking if there was anything I would like to do while here. Since I have never really traveled much till we started dating I had no idea what was in his family’s area let alone in Colorado. He started telling me about a couple different things but the one thing that stood out to me was the train. Iv never been on a train and I got supper excited about it and told him I wanted to do that. He bought us tickets and his dad. We where going to ride from Durango to Silverton eat lunch then ride back to Durango. I thought it was just going to be a nice relaxing family outing. Turns out my Bf had been conspiring with everyone to set a surprise. The day before the train trip he had his sister running all over to find my favorite flower in my favorite color (orange Lilly) while his dad hid my teddy bear that my Bf bought me when we where just friends and I was going threw a depressed stage that I also put a once on after we lost our baby (this bear means the world to me and comforts me when I’m sad an my Bf isn’t around I also left it at home because I’m scared of losing him). They then snuck everything on to the train and one of the workers even helped put everything together. When my boyfriend walked up to me I was so stunned cus I had hopped and fantasized of him proposing but didn’t expect all of what he went threw let alone how much thought he put into it. He’s always thoughtful don’t get me wrong but he went above an beyond of what I ever imagined for a proposal. For me it was perfect and now trains will always hold a special memory for me.
