To go in or not?

Question

Intense menstrual like cramps in front and back. So bad I couldn't sleep. Almost bad enough to take my breath away.
Had intense diarrhea last night before bed. Lots of pressure and feeling the need to poop currently. Sitting in the tub drinking water. No water break or loss of mucus plug (unless extra discharge counts).
 I don't want to go in just to be sent home again.

Here at hospital. 3cm dilated 80% effaced. Contractions are killing me. But looks like I'll have a baby today

That’s exactly how mine was! To the T. I labored at home for 12 hours of that before going in and was 5-6cm dilated at that point. I think contractions were getting close to 3-4 min apart then, but mine were never super regular. I’d say use your intuition and go when you can’t imagine not going.

Have you been tracking the cramps/contractions? You can definitely call your OB or L&D at the hospital to see what they want you to do!
