How bad do wrist tattoos hurt?

Hey girls if anyone out there have gotten tattoos on their wrists I would really like to know how you think they felt, I have a high pain tolerance but pretty squeamish about anything near my veins (such as the ones on my wrist) comments appreciated

The first tattoo I'm getting ^ my Dalmatian that passed away.

Thank you all for commenting :) also how about the outside of the wrist? I know it is closer to bone than the inside but it also isn't right on the veins.

This was my first tattoo. It didn’t really hurt, burned a little but nothing worse than a mild sunburn. It got a little more painful up where the umbrella is though.

I didn't think mine were too bad. I have 16 tats though and I'd say my wrists were in the middle of the pain range... It hurt but nothing crazy. Also depends on how heavy handed the artist is.

I have an ID bracelet on my wrist and it didnt hurt too bad. Its my only tattoo so i don't have anything to compare it to

I have a pretty high pain threshold and have had 2 tattoos previous to my wrist. I was really aware that it could hurt the further you go so placed mine a lil lower but it was actually fine!! I didn't think it hurt at all so go for it!

Ok so this is the thing. Some people tolerate pain differently and some feel it in different spots. My husband has his neck done and he slept through it but my friend got a tattoo on his neck and said it was the worst pain he had felt from a tattoo. My husband wont do the back/under of his upper arm but my friend has completely wrapped his arms in ink. So what doesnt hurt or hurts a shit ton for others might not bother you or it could be the worst pain ever.

I have these. And I literally didn’t even feel it when I got them. But I also have a kind of high pain threshold. Usually hand tattoos are said to be worse than wrist and it still didn’t feel like anything. But it depends on the person because it’s different for everyone really.

I have both wrists done,  personally I’d place it a little lower than the bend because I too feel weird about things directly on my veins.  
I did just over two finger widths down
