MY BODY TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY (pics)

I wanted to start by saying that I’ve always been a fit/healthy small girl. I was in volleyball basketball I wake boarded snowboarded started working out because of sports at 16 so when I started gaining pound after pound from 21-24 I was very depressed even though I wasn’t “obese” and many may say I looked “fine.” But my story is kind of the “skinny fat” story which a lot of people go through where they can’t shed that extra 15-20 pounds that is SO hard to lose.

What’s crazy and made me want to share my story is that I tried EVERYTHING to lose weight- Atkins, Keto, was vegan for a year, doing orange theory 7 days a week killing myself to the point of injury and while I would lose a lot of weight at first- I would ALWAYS gain it back. The ONLY thing that consistently worked and help me keep off the weight was really just adjusting a few minor eating habits and working out in some form at least 3-5 days a week and STICKING TO THAT. I don’t kill myself at the gym and I don’t starve myself and it’s crazy the results I saw in the first 3 months even.

So these are from November 2018

I weighed about 168 or so and hardly ever worked out and wasn’t eating the greatest.

Now THIS is the results I saw between November 2018 and like February of 2019

I was so proud!!

And now here is me in June of this year so 4 months later and I am confident as ever!!

All from mindful eating, mixing up my workouts and making them FUN and making only a few simple adjustments to my diet 😭 I still have things I want to tone up more but I love my body as it is now and instead of a “fitness goal” I just accept the fact that if I take care of my body it will react accordingly. thanks everyone for taking the time!!
