How long does the bleeding last?
Yesterday made 2 weeks since I had my D&C done. I was 10 weeks but the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. My doctor told me that the procedure went as well as it could and all I needed was 2 weeks of pelvic rest and we should be able to try again with no problem. Also the tests came back from the procedure and everything looked ok from that. So basically it was just one of those unfortunate, unexplainable miscarriages 😕
The 2 days after I had the procedure done I wore a panty liner and there was practically nothing on it. Then on the third day I woke up to a gush of blood. My doctor had me take medicine to close my cervix up for 2 more days and the bleeding slowed down, but didn't stop. So I called the doctor and they ended up prescribing me medicine to take for 2 days to open my cervix because they said I coukd have clots that needed to come out. The whole time I was taking that medicine all I had was spotting, and it's been like that ever since. I have only had light brown spotting since the day I had the gush of blood.
Could I still be bleeding from the procedure? Or could this be a really light period? 3 days ago I had really bad cramps and I just knew i would wake up to a big period...but still just spotting!
What is going on??!
