Did sex put you in labor and how soon if so?

37 weeks. 2 cm dilated, 70% effaced, and in -2 position so my doctor could feel her head today. She suggested sex. Curious how often that actually works!

I’ve done it with two of my daughters at 38 weeks and it happened a day after and I’m planning to do the same this time! But don’t lay down you have to sit on it 😄 like if you’re doing squats it will hurt a little just try and hope it helps! 🤞🏼

With my son I had sex and gave birth the next day. I was already at 4cm and 80% effaced but I am a firm believer sex is what pushed me over especially since I didn't have any labor pains until after we had sex (I went from 4cm to 7cm overnight)
