Hi ladies, I went for an early scan yesterday having had confirmation from the midwife that I was 7 weeks exactly, which makes sense as it matches my last period. They measured me at 8 weeks and didn’t find a heartbeat. They haven’t offered me another scan, just told me to decide on whether I was to wait and miscarry naturally or take the medicine to bring it on. I’ve read loads of stories of people waiting a week or so and having another scan and then the heart beat being found. I’m a bit sceptical as I don’t believe I am quite 8 weeks. They also found a cyst on my ovary which I have read can affect babys measurements. Not sure what to do? Any advice much appreciated. This is a photo of my scan.
