When your baby switches to milk do you give them a bottle as if it's their main source?

When you switch to milk from formula, do you give them a bottle of milk as if you were giving them formula? Like do you give the same amount of milk that you did formula?

After a year, milk or formula isn’t needed as long as your child is getting a well balanced diet. Food should be the primary source of nutrition. I’d also recommend switching to cups, and giving milk in cups rather than bottles. 
My son is 13 months. He gets 2-3 4oz cups of milk each day. We haven’t switched him to cows milk yet, but he is drinking less milk now as he eats more.

When you switch you put 3/4 formula and 1/4 milk. And then over the next few days get change that to 1/2 formula half milk and then 1/4 formula 3/4 milk until it's fully milk.

I think most doctors say to keep milk under 16 or 24 ounces a day.

Our ped said if he drank whole milk fine, then no need to mix it with formula. He did great so we just swapped a bottle of formula for a cup of milk. We did one meal at a time and after two weeks the bottles and formula were done. He has about one cup of whole milk four times per day with his meals and snacks. But if we’re traveling he might have water or 2% milk depending what’s available.

I did. But at first I would add cows milk to the formula and slowly add less formula as we went. That way it wasn't so tough on the stomach
