What’s your career?

Hi ladies!! I’m exploring careers at the moment and would love to hear what you do for a living! How did you get into it? How is your work life vs family life? Pay well? Thanks!!

I'm still in medical school... but since school it is quite hard for me to have a constant social life with school during the semester. I most times can't go see my family as much as I want or get out with friends as much as I needed. 
I do enjoy it though and the market seems promising, but you need to like it  to get through with it

I am an Interior Designer (went to school for hotel and hospital design) but that is high stress and long hours. I am now a kitchen and bath designer and my husband is a contractor.
Work/Life is good, 40 hours a week and able to adjust my hours to fit life.
Pay is set my demand, currently really good but will be cut in half when economy slows.
