I read on Planned Parenthood that as long as you take your combined oral contraceptive every day, youre protected from pregnancy. I was wondering, Is this true? I know you get the best protection from pregnancy when you take it at the same time every day, however, is it still effective if I'm off by a few hours (2-6 hours off)? Doesnt the protection rate drop from 99.7 to 91, or is it completely ineffective if taken late.
