Hello, I am kind of new to all of this. I don’t have anyone else to ask these questions to so I thought I’d see if any of you all would help.

We’ve been ttc for about two years. I’ve been seeing some posts about HSG and had no clue what it was. I have researched some now.

As a child I had 4 abdominal surgeries. They removed 8 inches of my bowels. As time has went on, I’ve always worried that my surgeries would cause me to not be able to have children naturally. When I’ve spoken to my obgyn about the disease I had and the surgeries along with it, she said she had to research it and didn’t think I should worry. My exact words to her was that I was worried that I would have scar tissue or adhesions that could be stopping me.

I haven’t gotten into any serious testing, I have an unknown calcification that they keep focusing on and have basically ignored what I said about my surgeries.

Do you all think I should specifically ask for HSG testing? I’m 23 years old and I don’t think they are taking it very seriously that I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. They just keep saying to test my ovulation and monitor the calcification.

For any of you that have read this, I appreciate you doing so and hope I can gain some knowledge from you all.
