Why won't they sit in a high chair & houdini out fast!

Question

What tricks do you have or is it just luck to keep your child sitting in a high chair? My 11 month old immediately is turning around and standing up 😤🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ am I the only one? And no matter how tight those buckles abd straps are she's able to squirm and twist out of them. Suggestions?

Aria has been a nightmare with climbing out.  She was only 5m when I had to move her to a basinette on the floor because she kept trying to jump from her crib.  Not something you want to wake up to! She is now in her big cot although already climbed out of that once.  
Back to the high chair.  It was so grubby and we were constantly fighting to keep her in it that it made meals stressful.  So, we sat her at a child’s table with a child’s chair and she loves it.  She does hop off and run about trying to steal other people’s food and we have to return her to her seat but she’s safe and happy.
