Periods?

My son is 13 weeks and 2 days old... when he was 8 weeks old I started my first period. I haven’t had another & i used to be very regular. I think I am a week late. Not sure if it can just be irregular due to post partum hormones or the fact that I breastfeed...should I be worried?

I’m in the same boat. Was supposed to start last Saturday. Have used protection every time s I really don’t want another kid. Too scared to even test just praying it starts soon. 😩

I’m in the same boat but my doctor told me to expect to be irregular due to breastfeeding (he was shocked that I had gotten it back, actually). I’m figuring that I’ll know if I’m pregnant, and using protection every time just to be sure.

Your periods often have a longer cycle the first few times after having a baby. It will go to almost a 50 day cycle and then cut down about a week after each time. That’s what mine did after my first and I looked it up and that was normal.

Definitely due to breastfeeding. U can have one n not have another for months. If u stop ur middle of the night feeds it’s likely they’ll come back but not necessarily consistently. W my first I didn’t get a period for a year but would spot here n there

I haven’t had my PP period yet. Did it come on heavy? Or will it start light? Not sure what to expect.
