Maternity leave?

I’m super uncomfortable and working has legit been so hard. Do you think if I ask my doctor to put me on maternity leave before baby comes she would? My work allows 10 weeks maternity leave and 6 weeks parental leave, however you can only take up to two weeks before your due date without a medical note off. They will allow you to go earlier than that with a note. I’d have to work 2 more weeks before I could just go but I can’t do it 😭
