I just got a new cat, he and my dog have gotten along really well, hhe rubs up against her and has only hissed a few times mainly during the first interactions since we’ve had him. I feel so bad for asking but is it okay to limit my room off for pets? My allergies only act up when my pets sleep in my bed but I feel like if I take a room away from them I’m a bad pet mom :((

Also should I feel bad about needing time away from my pets? I’m not sure how normal this is, when it was just my dog I didn’t really mind the constant pretense but now that there are two pets I feel so overwhelmed with the adjustments I just want to distance myself
