Has anyone taken this?

Went to the Dr today because my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now, with no success. He put me on clomiphene. He said it's the best 
fertility medication
 out there and it has helped many of his other patients.. I'm just wondering how many of you have taken this, what where your side affects, and how soon did you conceive?

So many people take Clomid and it’s the best! I got pregnant my 2nd round. Only side effects I had were hot flashes but this drug is a miracle. I got pregnant the 2nd round and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks then I took Clomid a Week later for 5 days agajn and got pregnant again! I’m now 19 weeks everything has been great

Didnt conceive it ovulate, actually. 
Take it at night- it helps alleviate the side effects.
Headaches, nights sweats, hot flashes, and mood swings. The nights sweats and hot flashes got better after awhile. Headaches came about a week after my last pill. It takes some time for side effects so dont think you're out of the woods on day 3 of your Clomid. Though, some are lucky enough to get none. 
Ask for Femara if it's too much.

We used letrozole/femera and there were no side effects besides I was a little less patient and moody for a day or two. Didn’t use that med.

I was on it for six months. Weight gain and hot flashes. Terrible, terrible hot flashes that for me didn’t get better. Was not paid by insurance. I didn’t conceive off of it and never checked ovulation to be sure except for one month and I did ovulate that month. I took femara (which was covered by insurance because it can be used as more than a fertility medicine) and conceived on the second cycle with an IUI and ovidrel trigger injection. And had no side effects with femara
