Who uses docatot as a cosleeper and baby sleeps in it all night

I will say we just went to an infant safety class and the instructor specifically said doc a tocs were not safe because of the pillow and suffocation

Hospital and pediatric Sleep Consultant said it is not safe. So we will not be using it. Plus it’s just so dang expensive. Rather have a nicer stroller. But you’re the mom. You do you.

I use a nest one that has mesh sides so baby can breathe. I didn’t like how they can turn and wiggle their head into the pillow part same with the snuggle me organic. Mine also has metal supports and goes in the bed but no change of either of us laying our arms over it and smooshing babies body or face to the point they can’t breathe. I’ve also seen where people wedge the crib between the wall and their bed so it won’t move but baby can be on their own mattress and still easy for mom to grab for night feeds and changes

I can't even buy them in Canada because they are not rated safe for sleep. I do wish they would sell them as a lounger though!

My first born was a crier and the dockatot was the only thing besides my arms that he would actually sleep in. I plan on using the same dockatot in a bassinet for my next one... whenever he decides to come
