No blood first time?

I just lost my virginity to my boyfriend of 7 months! I didn’t bleed or feel much pain. It was mostly just a bit of discomfort. Is this normal? Maybe my hymen just didn’t break and it will next time? Idk I’m kind of worried bc I fully expected to bleed. We’re both virgins (18 y/o) so maybe we did it wrong? 
His dick is 5-6 inches so that’s definitely enough to break the hymen.

The hymen isn’t “supposed” to tear from sex, it’s just common that it does. And that’s what it really does, it doesn’t “break” like a freshness seal, the tissue lines the entrance to the vagina and gets torn sometimes. After multiple tears or one sudden traumatic damage the little remaining tissue will dissolve. Hymens aren’t all the same, some women have less tissue naturally and some are born without a hymen. 
If you are very relaxed and the man is gentle then it’s likely thereI  is no damage. This isn’t at all a bad thing! It’s nothing to worry about and not a big deal if it does or doesn’t. If you are enjoying yourself then you’re doing it right.

Most women’s hymen just don’t break during the first time having sex, it may happen the next time or the next. They can break during other things like sports, horse riding or using a tampon so that may have been a case for you ☺️
