News not calling female doctors by their Dr. title

So my question isn’t about her outfit and whether she should have been asked to leave but focused on the newspaper not calling her Dr. Rowe. I’ve seen it a lot lately, particularly with a “grad student” making a research discovery when she was in fact a doctor. It seems like they constantly refer to women as everything but Dr. when they’ve worked their butts off to earn that title but they don’t do it to mean and it infuriates me.

The airline did call her Dr. in their response and the news did mention that she was a doctor but then still did not call her such.

Is this a problem? Are women doctors not given the same respect by the news to at least call them by their title?
