I'm pregnant with our second and everytime I try to involve my husband he gets upset. We do have quite a few things since our first is only two years old, but some things we need new. I don't bother involving him in cheap stuff or stuff only I will use, but expensive stuff and things he'll also use I want his opinion on. But everytime I bring something like that up he gets upset and complains about how I "just want to spend money" or "do you think I'm made of money " or brings up how shitty I'm making him feel because we need to spend money. I'm a stay at home mom and he works long hours to provide for us. We have a joint account, been married for almost 10 years. He's the one who wanted me to stay at home (he gets upset when I suggest I start working because he feels like he's accused for not being able to provide. If I wanted to work because of non financial reasons he would fully support me though) and he's the one that has been pushing for this baby. He definitely is over the moon over this baby, and since he pretty much had to convince me to have another I don't get why he's acting like this. He should know babies cost money. He should know that this baby would cost a lot too. I don't get it. I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant.
