Showering looking after a baby?

I have my 10month baby cousin sleeping over tonight (her mum had an emergency work thing) and I’m just wondering how on earth do you take a shower with a baby who can’t be left alone? She’s very mobile now so I’d be too scared to leave her. She’s bringing round a bouncer and maybe a walker and toys etc... what do you ladies do?

I put my 11 month old on the floor in the bathroom with some toys and take a quick shower. I peak out often. My daughter thinks it's funny when I look out at her. Or I take one while she's asleep.

You can put them into a bouncer in the bathroom or outside of it and shower. Or shower while they sleep. Or shower right before they come. It’s very simple and easy

Put the baby in the bouncer and put the bouncer in the bathroom. And have a VERY fast shower. 😂 Failing that, get a friend round to sit with her for a bit If you’re that worried. 👍

My son is only 7 months but is mobile enough that he can roll quickly from one spot to another. I sometimes just wait to shower while he’s asleep and bring the monitor in the bathroom with me so I know I’ll hear if he needs me. Other times I bring his jumper seat in the bathroom and put him in that while I shower. I peak out around the shower curtain and play peek a boo off and on while I shower if he seems to be getting upset.

Either let baby play in the bathroom with toys, shower when they are asleep like others have said or I’ve just brought baby in the shower with me / give them some bath toys :)

Probably easiest just to shower before the baby comes if you can. Otherwise let the baby play in the bathroom while you shower. There is no wonderful way to do it.

I wait until our son is asleep. Either I shower before he gets up in the morning, during a nap, or after he goes to bed at night. I can’t bring him in the bathroom with me because he gets into everything (unrolls the toilet paper, opens and empties the drawers, pulls towels off of racks).

I have put the bouncer in the bathroom.  I have also left the door open, put them in their high chair ( in my sight) and put a few Cheerios and cartoons on. I only take a5 or 6 minute shower.
