I lost the baby

I'm suppose to be 5 weeks an 2 days today yesterday I started bleeding light pink so I laid down tried not to stress but later that night it was a little heavier and red i went to the ER they told me my hcg looks like it was up where it should be but probably had been falling back down for a couple days now he said the baby just didn't progress when do the pregnancy symptoms stop when can we start trying again
