2013 Honda Civic LX - 75,000 miles?

Should I be nervous with the mileage? I’ve heard these cars last a longggg time if you maintain them. Is this a lot of miles?

I wouldn’t be concerned with the mileage...but more with service records. You can get at least an idea of how it’s been maintained for free if you plug the VIN number into mycarfax.com. Obviously best if you do a full carfax before purchasing, but this will give you an idea for free.

Definitely not. The industry average is 12,000-15,000 miles per year. This car is at about 12,500 miles per year so it's perfectly fine. My husband's Civic is getting close to 300,000 miles and still perfectly good. He actually wants it to die on him so he can buy a Tesla but we agreed to wait till his Civic gives out lol

No that's not a lot of miles lol. I bought a 2013 last year with 110,000 miles and I'm up to 120,000 with a year of driving. 🤷 if it's a good price and doesn't have issues the Miles aren't a big deal

Not at all! I drive a 2006 Honda Civic and it just hit 100,000. I bought it in February of this year.

no, when buying a used car I look for under 100,000 miles. I wouldn’t buy a used car with over 100,000 miles as car issues can set in more frequently them.

Nope. That’s not a lot of miles haha. My parents bought me a 2002 Toyota Camry with 200,000 miles on it and we’ve had a lot of minor issues so I’d say have a car savvy friend/family member look it over well before purchasing and you should be good. Also considering it’s only 6 years old with that little of mileage on it than you should be fine.

Hondas are good reliable cars. We drive ours more than 1000 miles/month for work and personal trips and it’s just fine! You have to maintain it well though
