Regular cycle before the pill
I got the depo-shot 2 times, didn’t get my period for about a year, then the first period I got after stopping was completely normal and I got it regularly after that.
Before I started the pill my cycles were completely regular, my period came on the exact day predicted by my tracker. For the first few packs I took them continuously, with no placebos just going to the next pack. But for the past two packs I have been taking them so I could get my withdrawal “period”. Well, I took my last active pill on June 22nd and had the week long withdrawal bleeding and haven’t had anything since.
I was wondering if my cycle would be more likely to regulate faster because it was so regular before? I’ve been off the pill for almost 3 whole weeks, could I have conceived during this cycle? What are the chances I could, considering my periods were so regular prior to starting the pill?
I know some people can start ovulating 2 weeks after stopping the pill, but really what are my chances? I’m 18 and in fairly good health and my fiancé and I have unprotected sex often (like 3-5 days a week, I try to log it in my tracker but usually forget). He just went on a 2 week long trip for work and I would love to get that BFP and surprise him when he gets home! I logged my last withdrawal bleed as my period, and I had sex during my tracker predicted fertile days. I had pain in my right lower abdomen that felt like it could be ovulation around the 2 week mark of stopping and I’ve had bloating and lower back pain. Should I buy a pregnancy test?? Maybe wait a week? Aahhhhhhh
