Is nesting always before labor?

Bc I have never been so exhausted in my life. I feel like I’m close, but I keep looking for this nesting feeling that never comes. Is this a MUST HAVE sign beforehand or could utter exhaustion take place instead?

I feel like I nested 2nd trimester 🤔 because I couldn’t be more exhausted now . It takes me forever to even just pick up the house . 😪 38 wks 🙋🏻‍♀️

Some people don't nest, so don't worry lol. I nested with my first & this one but not with my second.

I think I nested 2nd trimester. We cleaned so much and now I’m like “meh”. No urge at all. I did vacuum and do the dishes but I vacuum at least once a week. So nothing new there.

i didn’t do *any* nesting!! i went into labour at 41+4

I am on my fourth child and never once had this "nesting" impulse. I stay as active as I can during every pregnancy so maybe I just never noticed it but I have never once had the urge to clean my entire house or anything like that.
