Why do men expect so much, am I wrong

I just had a baby she just turned a month. I physically have no help with my baby her father doesn’t really help with her because he “works” he expects me to take care of the baby cook and clean just because he works he came home today and I could feel the tension in the room because he was upset I didn’t cook like taking care of a newborn alone is easy I honestly don’t care he doesn’t help out with her but expect me to do all this work

Man I am a full time student and I’m married my husband pays the bills and I do help out with chores but I don’t do everything. And he always says thank you even the days i don’t do anything he doesn’t get mad  but obviously, I don’t leave the house a pigsty or anything but if I don’t have the dishes done or something it’s not a big deal and he helps me when he gets home I’m blessed to say as far as being sexist as far as chores he really isn’t he helps me clean and always ask if I need help. Whenever I do clean or do laundry he always tells me thank you. I already had the sexist talk long before we got married. We are ttc and I told him how hard I’m going to have it and I don’t want to hear non of the sexist women need to have dinner cooked for the man and stuff. I consider being home with children a full time job aswell. And I’m lucky because he does all the cooking😂. 
Some men are really biased and believe in the traditional sexist roles. I ain’t going to put up with that I made it clear already 😂 if I’m cleaning it’s for both of us not because I’m a women who is supposed to do it.

My boyfriend works 12-14 hours days and while he does say a warm dinner is nice once in awhile he never degrades me or makes me feel like shit if dinner isn't done and still comes home and helps with my one year old (she's not his) and helps with stuff around the house and has been helping with our newborn since she was born on the 8th

Talk to him. He still needs to be a parent even if he’s the one working. A father’s responsibility doesn’t end when he gets home from work. Let him know your feeling overwhelmed and alone and you need to feel like part of a team in order to feel better.

It's only going to get harder I'm afraid.. u should both be working in a team.. instead he thinks ur a stepford wife.. put the baby in his arms and do whatever u need to do.. u need to be firm.. otherwise.. things will not work.

Maybe a mother’s helper. A neighbors daughter it summer and I’m sure most kids want to make some money. A responsible kid 10-16 Or during school after school hours. You don’t have to pay them much 7-10 bucks for a couple hours a day or even one that will volunteer. Cheaper than day care. You are there with them, you can take a shower, clean up, get things done. I started being a mother’s helper for my neighbors when I was 8 without pay. If they are older you can leave and grocery shop or have some ME time. We all need help in life. If he’s not willing to hold the baby when he gets home so that you are able to cook a meal. If he thinks it’s so easy to take care of a baby the next day off he has tell him prove it. Go to the mall or out to eat or time with friends and see how he does, maybe he will appreciate you more when the shoe is on the other foot. Hope things get better.

Give him the kid for the weekend - the whole weekend and let him see how hard it is... 
But to be fair might backfire other than being tired... the first 4 months are a doddle 😂😂
