I broke up with him and he says he misses me?

Question

I posted how I felt on Twitter one night. We haven't talked for 3 weeks and in the morning I got a text and it said, I'm just letting you know, I know you treated me good and I acknowledge that. I said, thank you for noticing something positive, have a nice day! and he said good luck and I haven't replied since. 
But the other day him at his new job in my town yesterday and he saw me. Why couldn't he just stay in his own town? I was happy, smiling and giggling with my mom and we left. I posted on my Twitter, that was unexpected but I'm glad... good for you. Meaning I'm glad he finally got a job. A few hours later he posted on his Twitter, missin you girl. And deleted it. Only to post, I'm missing you girl, a couple hours later. Then he posts, oh it seems to me... that sorry seems to be the hardest word. 
What does this mean? I'm so confused.

I think if you want to be done with it then stop posting things you know he can see and he knows are directed to him. If you want to try again and it seems you may as you are keeping tabs on his social media then try and really talk to him. Seems like the common game some attached ex's play when they are still trying to catch one another's attention.
