Tips on giving yourself trigger shot???

I'm scheduled for my first IUI on Monday morning and have to give myself the trigger shot tonight. My husband is horrified of needles so he is no help to me. Any tips on how to build up the courage?? For some reason I'm super nervous to poke myself 😳

Take it out 15 minutes before using it, the pharmacist says it hurts less, and if agree a bit

Watch videos on YouTube-there’s one of a nurse giving herself a b12 shot and a girl giving herself her trigger-I found these both helpful. I was worried to do it to myself but it was super easy. I drew a circle with an eye brow pencil around the goal area so i knew where to go. You can easily reach it yourself! Good luck!

Think baby baby baby baby!!! It’s not that bad- I was terrified before my 1st trigger but then I had to give myself a daily shot for blood clotting. 2 IUIs down so now Im a pro! 
I agree with watching the Youtube videos.. I definitely did that and my friend also recommended icing the area if you want but its really not needed.

I was afraid but it’s super easy. Make sure no air bubbles in syringe. Wipe with alcohol. Hold the fat in area insert needle push down syringe release fat and pull out needle. There are videos online you can watch as well
