I made my son’s 10th birthday cake. I’ve never done piping on a cake. I didn’t have the right spatula to smooth the white icing, I forgot to take the white icing off the cake board around the cake before piping and I messed up a little on the piping at the top, but it didn’t turn out too bad.

My son is obsessed with sharks and the orca boat from Jaws. Everywhere I got a quote from wanted $150 or more just to do the cake part and a shark head coming out of the water. I told them my son built the boat out of legos so we wanted to use that. I couldn’t make the shark head so we made do with the toy shark my son already had.
