Must haves for registry?

Mamas, what are things you must have vs things you didn't really use or thought were a waste of money?  I'm sure this question has been asked a million times and I apologize. 16 weeks with first baby and registry seems very overwhelming!! 👶🏼❤️ thanks for your help and advice!

Don't waste your money on::
Wipes warmer
Diaper genie
Car seat toys (it will be months before they even notice them )

Do keep on hand :
 baby Motrin and Tylenol ( you'll be glad at 2am that you've got them ) 
Aqafor ( for rashes is the BEST )

Besides the obvious wipes and diapers and clothes type thing

I got a bouncer/vibrating thing and it was a life saver! so was my swing

Feeding supplies (bottles if using, sterilizer (optional), burp cloths, etc
Bathing supplies (tub, baby wash, lotions etc)
Diapering supplies (Diapers,  wipes, etc)
Diaper bag /travel bag (optional)
Clothing (onesies, side buttons shirts, socks, mittens, caps, snowsuit (for winter only), outfits)
Receiving blankets

Swaddle blankets with the Velcro. Does all the swaddle work for you and stays in place

Put everything on your registry you think you might need! Most places offer a completion discount so even if it isn't gifted to you at your shower, if you decide you still want it you can purchase it yourself at at least 10% off. I wish I went more crazy on my registry and took advantage of the discount.

Bottles, diapers, wipes, blankets(all kinds), bottle drying rack, crib bedding, tub, pack n play, sheets for the pack n play, swing, bouncer, high chair, exersaucer, wash cloths, towels, diaper rash cream, nipple cream and pads, specific lotions, detergents, and baby wash. Boppy, diaper bag, and then all the nursery furniture.

Diapers, wipes ,and undershirts ,bathtub ,carseat, receiving blankets burp cloths, wash cloths and try not to get a lot of newborn diapers because my baby grew and she wasnt in them for that long I was stuck with them lol oh and good bottles

We bought this $40 tub for my first it had like a shower hose and all this cool looking stuff yea after his 5th bath or so he was too big for it lol so that was definitely a waste!

Put everything you think you will need for baby because some stores do like a 10% discount on items left on your registry that didn't get bought for your baby shower. It's also a good check list to have for all items total you'll need. As for things I thought I needed but didn't end up using...
Baby bath - our baby hated our nice 4moms baby bath tub. I take baths with her or use her bumbo.
Baby shoes - cute but my baby hated them and they're an unnecessary hassle since my baby can't even walk.
Boppy - a pillow under your arm works just as well.
Video baby monitor - a regular one works great.. No need for video!
