Ways to cool the car seat?

We’re quickly approaching 100-degree weather (new to it!) and I’m curious if there are ways to cool down the car seat? Or cool down my little guy since he’s rear-facing? Climate control is not great in our vehicle.

I bought a stroller fan on Amazon and just clip it onto my baby’s rear facing car seat. It really circulates the air and it oscillates so she’s not just getting blasted in the face with air. I like the one I got because it has rechargeable batteries and if it starts to die I can plug it into my car charger and it will charge as she uses it.

I keep a burp cloth in the back seat specifically to cover the metal parts on the car seat clip when not in use so they don't sit in the sun and then burn her legs.

I don’t have a ton of great suggestions. Luckily my car cools off quickly. However, I have a window shade on her window and it has a little detector that tells me if she is hot or not. So I always look at it to know. I love being able to look at it, see that it is red, and now she isn’t burning up. Gives me peace of mind.

I live in Cyprus and here it’s really hot! 40-45 Celsius. We have isofix base for the car sit so every time we just take out the sit and when we are going somewhere we just put it back to the base.

I have a fan we have strapped to the headrest that is battery operated. She loves the fan and it cools her off a lot. Only spent 10 dollars on it.
