So this guy and I knew each other all the way from middle school. Was such an incredible and funny guy. I left and switch schools half way through high school but we always remained in touch. Fast forward he DM me this past May and we begin to talk and FaceTime more. I grew to catch feelings for him and he did too. We met up a month and some change later and I met his family and friends and we eventually had sex. I am 23 and lost my virginity to him (a little late in the game) so everything is new to me. (We also live 3 hours away from each other).

After that, he still talks to me and we talk everyday but I don’t feel emotionally attached to him which scares me because I don’t want to break his heart. I also asked him what are we (to make sure we were on the same page) and he said that we are not in a relationship but we aren’t friends either. He stated this before our sexual encounter, so it wasn’t brand new to me. He says he only wants me and wants me to have his kids but I mentioned to him why have kids with someone you are not committed to. He said he wants to get into a relationship but wants to take things slow. He went through a breakup last year and it hurt him. I don’t know what I should do? Should I stay and see where this could take me or should I end it? I just don’t want to break his heart because he is an amazing man and such a great friend!

P.S. (silly but concern question) During our sexual encountered, we did and did not use protection. He did not finish the job (ejaculate) but I did take a Plan B. Should I wait to disclose how I really feel towards him after I get my period or now?
