ADHD???

Question

Could the reason for my boyfriends mood swings be his adhd? I'm not all that sure about what can happen if you have that.

Hey there, friendly neighborhood person with ADHD here. I'm not a specialist, but I'd say not necessarily. While folks with ADHD can have extreme emotional responses or even outbursts to things due to a lot of intersecting factors like stress levels lack of sleep etc., everyone with ADHD is different. It might be related to his ADHD, it might not be, it might be something entirely different. I'd suggest communicating assertively with your boyfriend about his mood swings--don't necessarily interrogate him, just let him know you're here for him if he needs help or wants to talk.

Good question I have adhd also but I'm not medicated and I get mood swings but idk if it's because of the adhd,I do know when I was on medication it caused me to get aggravated very easy so that could his problem also this is a side effect
