Scent free laundry detergent??

Question

How important is it really to have laundry detergent that’s scent free for the baby’s stuff? I’d already washed all my baby’s clothes and gotten them folded and put away before I started to see things about scent free hypoallergenic laundry detergent for baby clothes. Is it really important or can I wash my baby clothes in our regular detergent?

It’s more of a safety thing just in case your baby has allergies and is sensitive. I think it’s okay as long as you keep an eye on the baby and make sure no rash happens :) 
Just like us some scents and additives can make us itchy and uncomfortable.

I think is just some babies are super sensitive. My son was for his first year, but he is fine now with normal liquid detergent.

With my first baby I totally started out using scent free detergent on his clothes until I realized he was literally up against our clothes all the time that were washed with regular detergent. I stopped spending extra money and used what we used on his clothes and it was fine. Luckily he didn’t have sensitive skin. I’d just use what you’re using currently and if there’s an issue then change it up.

For us I have SUPER sensitive skin and just use what works for me and have never had an issue.   I would say as long as it's not a loud scent dont worry ab it
