Is it safe to get a massage in second trimester WITHOUT telling the therapist you're pregnant?

I have my reasons for not wanting them to know, it's part of our vacation.  I just really want to get a massage while we are gone but I don't know if it's safe without the therapist knowing.

My husband is a massage therapist. It is very important to tell your massage therapist that you are pregnant because there are pressure points they need to avoid that can trigger labor.

No they need to know and in the second trimester you should be on your side instead of your belly for a massage. I wouldn't risk it

You should definitely tell them. I think it would not be fair to with hold that info. A pregnant woman needs to be practiced on differently for safety and the practitioner should get the opportunity to do it right.

I would say if you're not getting a pregnancy massage then there could possibly be a risk, and if not a risk then it'll probably be uncomfortable for you to lay on your stomach while getting the massage
