To sleep or not to sleep w/him?

Would like to get everyone’s input based on experience not a belief - on how soon is “too soon” to sleep with a guy you just met. Is there such thing as if you make a guy wait he will be more interested in you? How long do you wait before he looses interest or finds someone else ? Or if he only wants one thing sooner or later that will still show anyway? If you meet a guy who is not yet “ready” to consider a long term relationship will it matter if you make him wait ? Would love to know everyone’s experience girls!
And what if you don’t know if he is only interested in sex? It’s hard to believe whatever a dude says, and hard to trust someone you just met. Is making him wait will keep him more interested?

Slept with my now husband after date 2. We weren’t even official yet. We became a couple a week after that. Exactly 2 months after we went out for our first date, I moved in with him. 9 years and 2 kids later, here we are. 
There shouldn’t be a “too soon?”, “make him wait?”, “should I wait?”, “what’s the game we are going to play?”.... because if you’re compatible, you’re compatible. Respect is respect. If he wants sex and you want it, respect should be both ways. If he judges you for it, then seriously why bother even getting involved with someone like that? 
Be up front and honest from the beginning: if you really like him and he’s being wish washy and can’t “commit” to anything long term at the moment, again seriously why waste your time? Remember your own self worth. 
I’ve had to tell men that (from the many years before I was married) and trust me, all of them actually respected me more just being honest. I didn’t lead them on a chase that I knew was going to go no where.

Lol I slept with my husband on the first date. Been married for almost 4 years with a daughter now. I think you should just let things progress naturally, don’t overthink it and don’t feel pressured. If he pressures you for sex when you aren’t ready then don’t give in and be firm on how you feel. Express that and if he can’t handle it he isn’t the one for you 🤷🏽‍♀️

Um no. 
Making a guy wait will not magically make him more interested in anything besides sex with you. How would it? 
He is either interested in more than sex or he isn't. Holding out won't change that.
Bottom line- If a dude is interested is more than sex with you and actually respects you, it doesn't matter when you have sex, having sex won't change that.
Same goes the other way, if he isn't and he doesn't respect you, then having sex or not won't change that either. 
Sex is just sex. It's not some sort of all powerful, magical spell that entances guys when done at exactly the right time. Lol. It'sjust a vagina. It's not magical.

If he’s not ready for a long term relationship I would think he is just Interested in sex. I think when ever your ready it’s when he time is right , it can be a day a week a month etc it’s up to you . I don’t believe in the too soon and making him wait will make him more Interested in you , if someone likes you they are going to like you no matter what .
