For #infantlossawareness, what would your letter say

I tried for over five years to get pregnant. I got my first bfp in June of this year. I miscarried in July. My letter to the child I never knew would be far too long to type it here. This is why I journal. Some day my rainbow baby will know just how loved and wanted they were/are, even when they were nothing more than a hope in my heart.

Colors swirl inside my mind
 Shapes and shadows of every kind
 Voices and sounds blend and echo
 Turning into a beautiful show
 Bittersweet memories I hold dear
Like what it would feel like to pull you near
Or how it sounded, saying your name
How we would have laughed when we played games
Cuddles for hours holding you tight
Silly giggles and tickle fights
 And then slowly watching you fade
Growing up, drifting away
And soon you'd be gone, on your own
Too soon you would stand, fully grown
These are things I never experienced or felt
This was a life never truly dealt
For you were far too precious for here on earth
That's why, my baby, you left me at birth.
I remember you in ways you never were
I remember what it might have been like to be your mother
 These are memories Never Made
These are memories that Will never fade

I actually wrote a letter to my baby after my miscarriage under my doctors suggestion. It helped start the healing process... well at least made it where I don't cry when it's brought up

I've never had a miscarriage, thank God. But just looking at that picture made me teary eyed and have a knot in my throat. I can't imagine what I could write in a letter like that. I'm so sorry for any woman that has gone through this. 😢😢

To be honest idk what i would say to my 3 angels. ,But then i probably say i love you and miss you and wish you where here with your family.
