Waiting?

How long did you wait before you tried to get pregnant after having a stillbirth?

How far along were you when you lose your baby?

How long did it take you to get pregnant?

I might make a bunch of these types of post because I have a lot on my mind lately.

I lost my son on May 26th 2019. He was born on May 27th, 2019. (His due date was May 29th, 2019)

His placenta stopped working while! I was having contractions which caused his heart to stop beating. I found out the cause a week ago and it’s still hard to fathom how the placenta could stop working a day before he was born. My boyfriend and I have been together 9.5 years, this was our first baby and we plan on trying oct-nov. but I’m concerned that we won’t get pregnant as fast as we did the first time. I’m hoping that’s just me overthinking things. We bought our first house in October of last year and were stoked to start our little family, unfortunately it didn’t go as planned but we agreed to try again. From what I read Online. It said to wait 6 months to a year. I had my 6 week appointment and she told me we could try as soon as we are ready. I’m off work until the end of August, so we decided October/November would be the best time to try again so that I would be back at work for at least a year before leaving again. I’m hoping that next pregnancy goes as planned and we get to bring home a beautiful, screaming, pooping, happy baby. Lol.

I’m definitely not going to take my next pregnancy for granted. I suffered 25 weeks of sickness but I can’t wait to deal with it again. Lol. I miss my baby more than I have ever missed anything my entire life, and I wish I could have protected him from this fate but I’m hoping he protects this from happening to baby #2.
